1 – 6 pm:  Converge!

Arrival and Registration… Please arrive with plenty of time to say hi to old friends, grab a cup of coffee or tea and find a seat.  The Convergence will officially begin at 1:30 sharp!

Welcome and Framing of the Day...  The Convergence is NOT just another meeting…. Find out how the day will unfold and why we’ve organized it that way.

Swap Meet… What do you have and what do you need? The room is full of experts… that’s YOU!  Tap into the local network and find folks who have what you’re looking for-- equipment, skills, connections, ideas, etc. and share what you've got.  Be sure to bring your business cards!

Making It Work…  Hear from farmers from across the region who have found unique strategies for success.  Share what’s working for you and get inspired for the year ahead.

Emerging Ideas…  What’s on your mind?  Here’s your chance to bring topics that interest you to the table.

Roundtable Talks...  Join the conversation.  Interested in marketing your crops to wholesalers?  Incorporating grains into your rotations?  Strengthening your CSA?  The Cottage Food Law?  Concerned about Food Safety and how it affects your business?  These topics, plus those that sprout from Emerging Ideas, will be on the table for discussion.  Three rounds will give everyone the opportunity to chat about their interests and expertise.

Feeding the Future...  Where do we go from here? Let’s get creative and find new ways to work together to feed our North Coast communities and make a good living doing it.

6-9 pm:  Celebrate!

Cocktail Hour… First drink is free, no host beer and wine afterwards.  Connect with your friends, old and new, and learn about the various initiatives and services for farmers in the region.

Locally-Sourced Dinner… Farmers deserve to be well-fed, and our sponsors agree.   Tamara Frey will provide a mostly-local dinner provided with support from the Ukiah Natural Foods Co-op.

Funk it Up… Well it is a Friday night, so let’s do it right with the live sounds of Mendocino County’s own Funkacilin!
