The Willits Community Garden is springing back into action! With the help of hard-working volunteers,
Mendocino AmeriCorps members and passionate locals the garden received some tender
loving care in preparation for the 2016 growing season.
Individuals like Tina Tyler O’Shea, who runs Willits Youth Advocates , and Christa Nunez, from Planet Kidizen, are now excited to get their hands in the dirt, working alongside Willits’ teens and children. Residents are also enthusiastic about the garden as a space to grow food and connect with community members.
Spring is a time for growth and Gardens Project
greatly looks forward to seeing this garden blossom.
