The Lakeport Hospice Community Garden began in partnership with the Lakeport Rotary Club and the Hospice Services of Lake County, with construction starting in Winter of 2018. Lakeport Rotary fully funded the project and donated a generous amount of time to complete the construction, and Hospice Services of Lake County lent a portion of their land to be the home of the new garden. This was the first community garden established in Lakeport, and officially opened to the public in 2019.
