Community Garden

Grace Lutheran Community Garden was established in the spring of 2009 to provide garden space to neighbors in the Wabash Avenue area. The garden is currently full with 12 hard working gardeners. Their mission is to grow food for themselves, and also to tend additional plots to share with neighbors and with the Plowshares Peace and Justice Center Community Dining Hall, which serves over 27,000 free meals a year.
